Chronology

1974: Business partners Klaus and Ursula Pietzner take over the metal-processing company and move the company to Luedenscheid.

1976: Recognizing the changes in industry, they quickly switch production from processing metal to processing plastics.

1986: The company takes the important step to begin manufacturing products for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

1992: Construction is completed on a new production and administrative building in the Halver-Oeckinghausen business park.

1995: The high standard of quality is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9002 within the framework of a quality management system.

1995: The warehouse areas are expanded.

1998: June 14th - Meding GmbH is granted approval for its medical products to display the CE symbol.

1999: More production facilities and many new items result in a considerable expansion of the production area under clean room-like conditions.

2001: Construction of a new warehouse.

2002: Meding switches the QA system to the new DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 and EN ISO 13488 standards.

2006: June – The plant is expanded by 30 per cent with a new three-storey building.

2006: The quality management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 and EN ISO 13485: 2003
