Constantly developed innovations form the basis for Meding GmbH’s success. Printing, galvanisation, assembly and order picking complete our services. Experienced developers and designers create sophisticated answers to complex problems and give advice on designing, tool construction and selection of materials. Construction, prototyping, tool making, pilot and principal forms, RE design, series manufacture, module assembly and improvement – everything from a single source, with a high level of commitment to quality and reliability. Manufacture can also take place using your existing tool. New products can be manufactured as a laser sintered part or as a stereo lithography part during the development and design phases. If the parts are complicated, pilot moulds are manufactured from aluminium or steel. Modern ARBURG and ENGEL injection moulding machines, equipped with 5-axis CNC robots, handling and gate removal, make possible production methods which ensure first-class results. A central material feed unit with integrated and PC-controlled drying guarantees that the machines are supplied at all times. The process data are determined and evaluated via a BDE system.
MONITORED ONLINE AND WORLDWIDE
The close cooperation with certified service providers ensures uncomplicated consignment tracking via the internet. If customers require it, consignments can be provided with details of an individual consignor. Our in-house dispatch department can also take over complete transaction processing and order picking for consignments to be delivered worldwide.

Meding GmbH is established in Iserlohn as a metal-processing company.
Klaus and Ursula Pietzner take over Meding GmbH and move the company headquarters to Lüdenscheid.
The company starts manufacturing plastic products.
The company starts manufacturing products for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
Construction and transfer to a production and administrative building in Halver, where Meding GmbH still operates.
Certification of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9002. The warehouse areas are expanded.
Granting of the CE mark for medical products.
Expansion of the production area for compliance with pharmaceutical requirements.

Expansion of the product range to include plastic-metal compounds (hybrid technology).

Purchase of the first 50,000 KN (500 t) injection-moulding machine including periphery. This means that parts weighing up to 3,000 g per piece can now be manufactured.
A 5,500 m² plot of land is purchased at An der Susannenhöhe, where a modern logistics centre is set up and put into operation.
Investment in an injection blow moulding unit opens up a new business sector for the manufacture of plastic bottles and pots.

There is a clear description of the structural and procedural organisation which specifies who is responsible for quality assurance tasks, and when and how these are carried out. We have achieved a high level of acceptance of regulations from our employees by integrating them in the tasks and by stressing understanding for decisions and instructions.

In order to ensure ongoing success, we have worked together with our staff to develop the following quality guidelines.
- Optimised manufacturing processes prevent waste.
- Environmental protection orientated conduct by the employees.
- Reduction in share of residual waste to a minimum by handing over remaining material, waste oil, consumables which contain oil, cardboard boxes and empty plastic bags to qualified recyclers.
All the plastic materials which we use are suitable for mono-material disposal and re-use as recycled granulate in the manufacturing process for new products. Whenever possible, we use polypropylene to manufacture our products because it is a very environmentally-friendly product. The amount of water and primary energy needed for its manufacture is very low, and gas and dust emissions are minimal. In addition, polypropylene is a neutral material when in a disposal site and has the highest possible calorific value (like heating oil) in thermal utilisation*. If required, we can provide the relevant documentation. We are members of the German recycling “Dual System”. An environmental audit is being planned.
